Beachtown is an engineering marvel. Just when it was on the cusp of becoming a premier destination in Galveston, Texas, hurricane Ike stuck. The well-built community withstood the full onslaught of the hurricane while many neighboring villages and homes were completely wiped out. Our job was to revitalize the brand and confidently communicate the stability of the community – from both an architectural and a cultural standpoint. We captured the existing lifestyle of the resort, created excitement around communal amenities and restaurants and visualized the experience of a proposed onsite hotel. We created original photography and brought it all to life in brochures, ads, sales materials, investor kits and on the web. We worked side-by-side with the founder to bring the brand back to its feet and position the community to become a true destination.
We Made the LIFESTYLE THE MAIN ATTRACTION
We instilled the brand with vibrant possibilities, a place built on the finer things of life, a place with a reputation for quality. We refined the messaging to reflect this new position. We meticulously crafted the photography to capture the inherent beauty of the community, a life simplified by the ebb and flow of the sea.
Portraits of Home
We captured all the photography on location. This added greater dimension and personality to the brand. We eliminated the use of stock photography, emphasizing the singular character of Beachtown.
Energizing the Community with Online Exploration
We designed the website to renew trust in the community’s future and offer a platform for potential residents to discover the joys of Beachtown living and explore all that the community had to offer. It highlighted the inherent charm and lifestyle of beach living. We featured the design and construction processes to emphasize how every detail of the community is built to superior environmental standards.
